From general manager of a fine dining restaurant to owning and running my own chiropractic business ...
Along the way I learned a few things:
Until recently I practiced as a doctor of chiropractic.
Then a light went on in my head . . . as I was writing ads, sales letters and mailing pieces for my chiropractic business I realized I enjoyed the writing more than I did the chiropracting.
New career path.
I got focused. I studied and am verified in copywriting by American Writers and Artists, Inc., the most successful copywriter training program in the world.
I’ve studied email and autoresponder copywriting with Jay White.
I completed AWAI’s program in Copywriting for the Health Market.
I've learned fundraising copywriting from Mal Warwick and Jeff Brooks.
I’ve also been through Chris Marlow’s copywriting training course.
Meaning my clients get a copywriter who's knowledgeable, experienced and writes copy that gets results.
A copywriter who’s adaptable, easy-to–work-with, and reliable. That delivers copy when you want it, the way you want it.
When I’m not writing copy, I'm either hoisting a barbell, out walking the beautiful greenways where I live (Holly Springs NC) or running after my 8-year-old son, Sam.
I’m an avid reader. I devour books on copywriting. For fun reading I love crime thrillers.
Part of what‘s great about copywriting is the reading and research I do for each new project. Learning about a business, product or service is fascinating and rewarding.
My main joy in life is being the best Dad I can be for Sam and the best husband I can be for my beautiful wife and best friend, Lydia.
